The talk is the last of a series of political awareness lectures sponsored by the Jewish Welfare Federation Young Adult Division. Rabbi Loss, of Temple Israel, sits on Federation's board of governors, and on its leadership development and Israel/overseas committees. In his lecture, Rabbi Loss will discuss the intifada, aliyah from the Soviet Union, the Gulf War and prospects for peace. I ON CAMPUS 1 Will Host Holocaust Programs OCC The Jewish Students Association of Oakland Com- munity College Orchard Ridge Campus will have a three-day program, "Why We Remember," to commemorate the Holocaust. At 3 p.m. April 9 there will be a group discussion on "Why Jews and Non-Jews Should Remember the Holocaust." At 7:30 p.m. April 9, Rabbi Charles Rosenzveig, director of the Holocaust Memorial Center, will give opening remarks before the showing of a movie, Preserving the Past to Ensure the Future, a 1990 Academy Award nominee. After the movie, Holocaust survivors will share their experiences. At 1 p.m. April 10, "What Would Make a Person Jeopar- dize Their Life to Save Others" will be discussed. At 7:30 p.m., remembering the Holocaust through the arts will be featured. A non-denominational ser- vice will be held 3 p.m. April 11 featuring Rabbi M. Robert Syme of Temple Israel, Rev. James R.
