Adat Shalom
Hosts Klarsfeld

The Sisterhood of Adat
Shalom will feature a talk by
Beate Klarsfeld at the group's
Donor Day April 16 at the
synagogue.
Ms. Klarsfeld, a German-
born Christian who has
dedicated her life to the moral
rehabilitation of Germany
and support for the State of
Israel, is one of Europe's Nazi
hunters. She will be introduc-
ed by. TV-2 news anchor
Sherry Margolis.
Boutiques and coffee will
begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will
be at noon.
Through lecturing, publish-
ing and generating court ac-
tion, Ms. Klarsfeld and
her husband, Serge, have
devoted their lives to tracking
down and exposing Nazi war
criminals. Her efforts have
brought to trial people such
as Kurt Lishke and Klaus
Barbie. Ms. Klarsfeld has
been honored as a Righteous
Gentile by Yad Vashem in
Jerusalem.
There is a charge. Reserva-
tions must be received at the
synagogue, 29901 Middlebelt
Road, Farmington Hills
48334, by April 11.
