Parents Of Disabled
Hear About Anger

"Angry at God? The Jewish
Response," will be the topic of
Rabbi Eli Finkelman at the
April 10 meeting of Keshet,
an organization for Jewish
parents of children with
special needs.
The meeting will take place
at 7:30 p.m. at the Agency for
Jewish Education.
Rabbi Finkelman is the
director of the B'nai B'rith
MetroDetroit Hillel Founda-
tion. His presentation will ad-
dress the Jewish perspective
on dealing with the anger
that parents of children with
special needs commonly
experience.
Keshet is based on the
belief that every Jewish child
should be able to participate
as fully as possible in the
mainstream of Jewish life,
regardless of disability. The
group is open to Jewish
families of all denominations
whose children have any type
of handicap, including learn-
ing disabilities, physical
limitations and developmen-
tal disabilities.
Future activities of the
Detroit chapter include sup-
port groups, a parent-to
parent network, a newsletter,
and holiday celebrations.
For information, call
Ronelle Grier, 661-6905.
