The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit and Jewish Family
Service will offer a network-
ing opportunity for adults
caring for older family
members. An eight-session
support group, "Caring for
Your Aging Loved One," will
focus on: understanding the
aging process; coping with
feelings such as helplessness,
resentment, and guilt; legal,
financial and health care
issues; and time management
and decision-making skills.
This group will combine
peer support experiences with
presentations by experts in
the field of aging. Norma Dor-
man, a social worker from
Jewish Family Service, will
facilitate the group. The
group will meet on Wednes-
day evenings 7-8:30 p.m.
beginning April 10 at the
Maple-Drake building.
There is a registration fee.
For information, call Margo
Weitzer, 661-1000.
