Readers Theater
Plans Programs
The Readers Theater of the
Jewish Community Center
will introduce the 1991
Spring Series of performances
with a program of short story
readings from the treasures of
Jewish literature 3:30 p.m.
March 24 at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center.
The program will include
stories by Elie Wiesel, Victor
Ullman, Saul Wineman and
Dorothy Parker. These stories
will be read by David A.
Goldman, Evelyn Orbach,
Elizabeth Elkin Weiss and
Paul Winter. The host for the
performance will be Robert
Aronson, executive vice presi-
dent of the Jewish Welfare
Federation.
Future performances in this
series will be 3:30 p.m. May 5
and June 2. There is a com-
plementary wine bar for all
performances which opens at
3 p.m.
Tickets are available at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
building and the Maple-
Drake building and also will
be available at the door.

The University Musical
Society will bring soprano
Jessye Norman, along with
conductor James Levine and
the Metropolitan Opera Or-

version of the grand finale to
