ALL IN THE FAMILY
Linda and Michael
Margolin of Detroit recent-
ly appeared on the 20th an-
niversary special of "All in
The Family." Mr. Margolin
wrote a letter to Norman
Lear 19 years ago express-
ing his delight with the show
and Mr. Lear finally an-
swered by having him and
his wife on the program. The
90 minutes of taping ended
up as 6.4 seconds of air time.
"I let Michael talk once in
the one-and-a-half hours of
taping and that's what they
used," said Mrs. Margolin.
But she confesses, "It was
great fun."
They are out of the
limelight for the moment.
Mr. Margolin is a medical
social worker administrator
at Sinai Hospital. Mrs.
Margolin is the assistant cu-
rator of education at the
Detroit Institute of Arts.
Mrs Margolin is looking for
docents for the museum. In-
terested individuals can
reach her at 833-9178.0
