CAROLYN APEL, 55, of
West Bloomfield, died March
18. She leaves her husband,
Fred; daughters and sons-in-
law, Marcy and Steven Rowe
of West Bloomfield, Susan
and Bob Roberts of West
Bloomfield; son and
daughter-in-law, Donald and
Lynn of West Bloomfield; five
grandchildren.

WILLIAM BASKIN, 84, of
Detroit, died March 20. He is
survived by his brothers and
sisters-in-law, Harry and
Dorothy of Calif., Benjamin
and Ruth of Phoenix, Ariz.;
sister and brother-in-law,
Frances and Jack Gorelick of
Delray Beach, Fla.

ANNE BENSON BERKEY,
95, of Hollywood, Fla.,
formerly of Lansing, died
March 14. She is survived by
cousins, nieces and nephews.

GOLDIE BOXER, 98, of
Detroit, died March 15. She is
survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Martin and
Lucile of Niles, Ill., Jack and

grandchildren; eight great-
grandchildren.

BELLA EAGEN, 75, of Oak
Park, died March 13. She is
survived by her sisters and
brothers-in-law, Mildred and
Vernon Palmer of Southfield,
Lillian and Fred of South-
field, Esther Lax of Los
Angeles, Shirley Palmer of
Novi.

PAULINE EICHNER, 82, of
Montana, formerly of Detroit,
died March 14. She leaves her
sons and daughters-in-law,
Dr. Jerrold and Susan of
Great Falls, Mont., Dr.
Harvey and Christine of Mis-
sion Viejo, Calif.; brothers
and sisters-in-law, Jack and
Estelle Lasser of Huntington

Woods, Walter and Ann

grandchildren. Services and

Detroit.

ROSE FINKELSTEIN, 89,
of Southfield, died March 15.
She is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Jerome and JoAnne Finck;
daughter and son-in-law,
Millicent and Dr. Gerald
Grossman, both of Southfield;
sister and brother-in-law,
Bella and Irving Goldman of
Southfield; six grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren.

SARAH HURWITZ, 70, of
Southfield, died March 14.
She is survived by her hus-

son-in-law, Barbara and
Kevin Hyde of Royal Oak; two
granddaughters.

FERN KUNICK, 75, of

She is survived by her

ARTHUR LEADER, 72, of
Southfield, died March 12. He
is survived by his wife,

Diana of Dearborn; daughter,
Myna Ackerman of Birm-
ingham; sister, Norma of
Berkley; five grandchildren.

HARRY LUXTON of Mon-
treal, Canada, died March 4.
He leaves his wife, Mary;

Bina and Lauren; sisters,
Celia Houdek of Evanston,
Ill., Fanny Kardener, Rose
Maisel and Pearl Oslik, all of
Southfield, Esther Kaell of
