APPLESAUCE COOKIES
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup oleo
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup applesauce
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts
Sift flour, salt, and spices together. Cream oleo
and sugar. Stir soda into applesauce. Add egg and
combine with the creamed mixture. Stir in sifted
dry ingredients. Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by
teaspoon, 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. }
