' 08 0800 111 The Southfield Parks and Recreation's Cultural Arts will host the Eighth Wildlife Exhibit through March 29. The show is in conjunction with the nationally renowned Wildlife Art Festival. The featured artist this year will be Catherine McClung along with Malcolm Ramsey, the bird sculptor. Catherine McClung grew up in Toronto and came to the U.S. as a teen-ager. She taught school and took up painting, with the emphasis on nature — wildflowers and songbirds, using watercolor and wet on wet background until a more detailed foreground is achieved, especially flowers and birds. Her print was selected for the cover of the Michigan Bird Atlas published this year. The show takes place in the Civic Center Gallery. Hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat.
