series, "High Renaissance
and Baroque," by Michael
Farrell, associate professor of
art history, University of
Windsor, will continue to be
presented Tuesday nights,
7:30 p.m., March 19-
April 16, at the Swidler
Gallery, Royal Oak. There is
a charge.
The lectures will survey
Renaissance art in Rome and
Venice, Mannerism and the
rise of the Baroque style in
Italy, Spain, France, England,
Flanders and Holland. Ar-
tists such as Michelangelo,
Caravaggio, El Greco, Rem-
brandt and Rubens will be
discussed.
