The Chamber Music Socie-

Talich String Quartet with
guest pianist, Menahem
Pressler, in concert 8 p.m.
March 19 at Detroit's Or-
chestra Hall. Performing with
the quartet will be the pianist
of the Beaux Arts Trio,
Menahem Pressler.
The Quartet is made up of
Petr Messiereur, violin; Jan
Dvapil, violin; Jan Talich,
viola; and Evzen Rattay, cello.
Noted for its interpretations
of the great Czech composers,
the Talich has recorded many
of their works on the Calliope
label. For the Detroit con-
cert they will perform:
Beethoven's Quartet No. 20 in
D Major; Mozart's Concerto in
A Major for Piano and
Strings; Dvorak's Piano
Quintet.
