McGuire will discuss "The
Impact of State and Federal
Budget Cuts on Older
Americans."

Yiddish, Film
Groups Set

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center
will organize two new groups:
a Yiddish group, for those in-
terested in having fun with
the language, and a film
review group, for those in-
terested in viewing and then
discussing stimulating films.

Senior Adult
Third Seder

A third seder sponsored by
the Senior Adult Department
of the Jewish Community
Center will be held noon
April 3 at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris building. Tickets are
available through the JPM

Maple-Drake
Seniors Program

The Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center's Me &
My Grandchild program will
celebrate Passover with
grandparents and grand-
children 2-4 p.m. March 24.
Parents are also welcome to
attend.
The program will involve
making matzah at the
Center's Matzah Factory, a
tour of the Discovery Room,
(hands-on-museum focusing
on Israel and Judaism) and
dessert to conclude the
afternoon.

Senior Adult Department.

The weekly erev-Shabbat
program is each Friday at
12:30 p.m. in Jaffe Hall with
Canter Max Shimansky.
Art classes are held Mon-
days, Wednesdays and Fridays
9 a.m. to noon in Room 11. A
lecture series, "Names and
Faces in Jewish History" is
offered Fridays at 11:30 a.m.
in Room 4, and "Press
Review," a current events
discussion group meets at 1
p.m. in Room 15 each Friday.

Assembly Hall.
