U-M Hillel Foundation Sets Weekly Schedule The University of Michigan Hillel will sponsor the follow- ing events: The film Now After All These Years will be shown at 7:30 p.m. March 18. This documentary tells the story of Rhina, a small German village, which for centuries was known as "the Jewish town" because more than 60 percent of its population was Jewish. When the Nazis took power, the entire Jewish com- munity vanished, most of them into the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Dachau. The film will be Meetings of organizations, films and a Holocaust observance are planned. followed by a panel discus- sion. There is a charge. This event is also sponsored by Hill Street Cinema. Professor James Jones from Central Michigan University will discuss "The Pink Triangle: Gays under Ger- man Fascism" noon March 19 at Hillel. There will be an in- formal discussion on the gay man's experience under Ger- man fascism. An Evening with Survivors will take place 7:30 p.m. March 19 at Hillel. A Memorial of Names will take place 1 p.m. March 20 to 1 p.m. March 21 on the Diag at the University of Michigan. During these 24 hours, readers from the Ann Arbor and University com- munities will take turns reading names of those who perished in the Holocaust. Michael Bernstein Memo- rial Lecture — "A Reckoning of the Soul: Catholic-Jewish Relations in Contemporary Poland" will be 7 p.m. March 20 at Hillel. Reverend Stanislaw Musical of Cracow, Poland, and Rabbi Leon Klenicki of the Anti- Defamation League, will con- duct a dialogue on current events of Eastern Europe and their effect on Catholic-Polish relations. A Commemorative Service in memory of those who perished and in honor of those who survived will precede the dialogue. An information day on Hebrew University will be 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 20. The program, entitled "For God's Sake Whose Land Are We Occupying Anyway?" deals with fascinating in- sights into historical and cur- rent events in Israel and the Middle East.
