Powell, executive director of the American In- stitute for Preventative Medicine, will be the featured speaker at the Temple Beth El Brotherhood breakfast 9:30 a.m. March 17. His presentation to the Brotherhood, "An Apple A Day Isn't Enough," will be reflective of methods utilized by his institute in the development of smoking cessation, weight control, stress management, fitness and other programs in use by more than 500 hospitals and 1,000 corporations nation- wide. The pro- gram will take place 7:30 p.m. March 21 at Adat Shalom. It is open to the community at no charge. Facilitators will be Arlene Lubin, a geriatric social worker, and Andrea Sanfield, a physical therapist. The evening is sponsored by the Adat Shalom JEFF committee. Chug Ivrit (Hebrew Circle), a monthly Hebrew conversa- tional club, will begin March 17, at Adat Shalom. An organizational meeting will be held 10 a.m. that day.
