Greater Detroit will hold its
46th annual Youth Awards
Program 1:30 p.m. Mar. 3 at
Congregation Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses.
These awards are given
each year to graduating high
school seniors who show
academic excellence,
demonstrate social commit-
ment, have continued their
religious education and have
written a one page essay. This
year's topic is: "A Jewish Role
Model to Emulate: Historical,
Literary or Political."
The speaker will be Rabbi
Irving Schnipper. Betty
Silverfarb will make a special
presentation and Paul Magy,
former award recipient, also
will offer remarks. A recep-
tion will follow the program.
