Plans Purim
The reading of the megila
and performances by the
Young People's Society and
the Married Group will take
place 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at Temple
Beth El. Adults and children
are asked to come in costume;
the Married Group will pro-
vide a prize for the best adult
costume. Refreshments
following the service will be
provided by the Married
Group.
The Purim celebration will
continue 11:30 a.m. Mar. 3
with the annual Purim Car-
nival sponsored by the Young
People's Society. The carnival
will feature games, food, a
kiddieland and door prizes.
Tickets for the carnival will
be available at the door.
Adat Shalom
Purim Service
Adat Shalom Synagogue
will hold its annual Purim
Family Megila Service 7 p.m.
Feb. 27, at the synagogue. The
following youth, prepared by
Cantor Larry Vieder, will
read the megila; Bradley
Dock, Aaron Weiss,. Yaneev
Golombek, Erica Guyer, Mara
Leichtman, Ariel Kohen,
Sarah Tigay, Owen Alterman
and Jeremy Gordon.
Clowns will entertain and
explain the Story of Esther.
All youngsters should come
dressed in costume. The
megila will be read again at
the morning service at 7 a.m.
