The Humanist Forum
To Host Joe Stroud

the Detroit Free Press 8:30
p.m. Feb. 25 at the Birm-
ingham Temple. He will

Forces that Impact Israel's
Survival."
Mr. Stroud will consider:
how the absorption of
2,000,000 Russian im-
migrants will affect Israel
politically, culturally and
economically; what Israel's
fate will be when the Persian
Gulf crisis is resolved; will the
Knesset survive the turmoil
being generated by the power-
ful coalitions created by
Israel's Orthodox Jews; and
what form the intifada will
take when the new alignment
of Arab nations shifts its
focus on the Palestinian

claims to the West Bank and
Gaza Strip.
A discussion will follow the
talk. There is a charge.
