Chamber Ensemble
Mozart Concert

The Lyric Chamber Ensem-
ble will present its second
concert in the Mozart Festival
Series, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at
Orchestra Hall. The concert
will feature the Piano Quartet
in E-flat, and the Clarinet
Quintet in A, both by Mozart.
Also included on the program
will be Mendelssohn's Octet in

E-flat.
For this concert LCE will
bring together an assembly of
performers. Heading the list
of DSO members is Concert-
master Emanuelle Biosvert.
She will be joined by
violinists Geoffrey Applegate,
Lenore Sjoberg, and
Marguerite Deslippe; violists
James Van Valkenburg and
Darryl Jeffers; cellists Marcy
Chaneaux, John Thurman
and Haden McKay; and
clarinetist Theodore Oien.
Other performers will be
violinist Stephen Shipps,
violist Yizhak Schotten and
pianist Fedora Horowitz,
founder and artistic director
of LCE.
