The Young Israel of Oak-
Woods will hold its annual
Rabbi James I. Gordon lec-
ture 8 p.m. Feb. 25 at the
synagogue.
The speaker will be Rabbi
Macy Gordon of Jerusalem,
director of the Council of
Young Israel Rabbis in
Israel, and of "Just One Life,"
a social welfare project
directed towards Jewish birth
encouragement.
Rabbi Gordon will lecture
on "Artificial Insemination
and Donor Parenting: A
Jewish Moral and Ethical Ap-
proach to New Scientific De-
velopments in the Procreative
Process."
Rabbi Gordon's activities in-
cluded a governor's appoint-
ment to the Office of Con-
sumer Protection for the
State of New Jersey in the
area of kashruth,,
