Morton Dermer, Of B'nai B'rith Morton Dermer, 79, of Oak Park, died Feb. 11. He was in the real estate investment business and was former owner of Comet Realty in Detroit. Mr. Dermer helped establish Real Estate and Construction Lodge of B'nai B'rith, was a 'member of Perfection Lodge, and was former owner of the Green- bush Inn in Greenbush, Mich. He leaves his wife, Sadie; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bernie Tarnow of •I West Bloomfield; son, Arthur of Farmington Hills; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Harry Miller of Southfield and Ruth and Abraham Gursky; three grandchildren. Abel Selburn, Attorney Abel J. Selburn, 71, of West Bloomfield, died Feb. 8. An attorney for 50 years, he was a member of the Michi- gan Bar Association, past president of the Michigan Mineralogical Society and a graduate of the Detroit Col- lege of Law. He leaves his wife, Rita; children, Brian and Mona of Harper Woods, Mallory, Jor- dan and Gayle of California, Howell of California, Joel and Maureen Lansat of Palm Beach, Fla., Fla. Edward Lansat of St. Louis, and William Lansat of Farmington Hills; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Jay Lieberman of Sun City, Ariz; four grandchildren. Selden Koblin, Exec, Volunteer Selden Koblin, a former dry goods executive and purchas- ing agent, died Feb. 10. He was 82. Mr. Koblin attended Nor- thern High School and was a 1931 graduate of Albion Col- lege. He was a member of the freshman football team that last year was inducted into Albion's sports hall of fame. He was a dry goods ex- ecutive and auctioneer, owner of Koblin's Cut Rate at Michigan and First in Detroit from 1930 to the middle 1950s. At age 60, he went to work as the purchasing agent for Nelson Chemical Co., retiring in 1978. He was a volunteer at Botsford Hospital from 1978 until his death, working there three days a week. He was recently honored as one-of the outstanding hospital volun- teers in metropolitan Detroit, with more than 4,200 hours of service at Botsford. He was a member of Pisgah Lodge of B'nai B'rith, the Crescent Shrine Club and was a 32nd degree Mason. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jack
