sity of Michigan's University
Players will present the col-
legiate premiere of Lillian
Garrett's World War II
drama, The White Rose Feb.
14-17 at the Lydia Mendel-
ssohn Theatre, Ann Arbor.
Set in Munich, Germany,
during World War II, The
White Rose dramatizes the
true story of five students
who were arrested for
distributing anti-Nazi leaflets
under the name of "The
White Rose." The play ex-
plores the conflict between
the students and their inter-
rogators, in a situation where
oppression of thought is com-
monplace and fear is the
greatest enemy.

B'nai Moshe
Coffee House

Congregation B'nai Moshe
will host a coffee house
featuring songs and music of
the 60s and 70s, including
some Hebrew and Yiddish
melodies 8 p.m. Feb. 9 at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.

Steven
Rabinovitz and Frank Ellias
will provide the music and
will lead sing-a-longs. The
