Woods Parks and Recreation
Center will offer the following
events: a coffee concert 9:45
a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mar. 1. The
music will feature Zdenek
Macal, conductor and Midori,
violin.
There is a charge. For reser-
vations by Feb. 20, call the
Recreation Department,

Rumplestiltskin at the
Detroit Youththeatre will be
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Mar. 2 for
children ages five and up.
Kathy Piper from Solon, Ohio,
pulls all the strings and
creates all the voices.
There is a charge. For reser-
vations by Feb. 15, call the
Recreation Department.
The Winter Concert Series
will present the Children's
Comedy Playhouse and Ron
Coden 4 p.m.-5:15 p.m. Mar. 3
at the Recreation Center. The
Children's Comedy Playhouse
will present Snow White, and
Ron Coden will also perform.
Following the concert,
5:15-5:45 p.m. there will be a
hot dog dinner, including
pop/juice and chips. Pre-
registration is a must; there
is a charge.
Kosher Cooking for
Passover will be offered 6:30-8
p.m. Mar. 4 taught by M.
Markofsky. Recipes for
Passover or anytime plus
demonstrations will highlight
the evening.
Register by Feb. 22. There is
a charge.
A ladies' night out is plann-
ed for 7:45 p.m.-midnight Mar.
8 at Beverly Hills Racquet
Club. Activities will include
tennis, wally-ball, aerobics,
swimming, exercise room and
whirlpool. A cooking
demonstration, prizes and
special events will be
highlighted. Pre-register by
