mainly because he was team

ship ability. He's improved his
skating and puck-handling
ability.
"He's just coming into his
own. It takes some players a
little longer to accumulate
major-league skills.
"Ronnie was getting a hit
on every shift he was on the
ice, which kept the other
team 'honest' and gave us a
big lift.
"If you don't have players
like Ronnie Stern in this
league, you don't win."
There are at least two
Jewish minor-league hockey
players.
The Sabres have goalie
David Littman, a former
Boston College star, at their
American Hockey League
team in Rochester, N.Y. Last
year, with Phoenix of the In-
ternational Hockey League,
he had a goals-against
average of 6.67 per game; in
14 games in Rochester, he im-
proved to a 3.26 mark.
Littman's cross-town college
rival, Mike Kelfer of Boston
University, is the property of
the New York Islanders. Last
year, with Springfield of the
American Hockey League, he
scored 42 points in 57 games
and had 10 penalty minutes.
This year he is with Kansas
City of the International
Hockey League. Kelfer also
was BU's starting shortstop
in baseball. ❑

two categories this time.
The 18-year-old ice skater,

senior men's figures.
He qualified for the na-

third in junior men's
freestyle and fourth in
senior men's figures at last

The top four finishers in
each category at the three

Tissue Paper and Clothes
We are proud of the artful cleaning and the
fine finish our pressing gives your clothes. But
nothing ruins our work like hanging on a
hanger in a crowded closet. So we stuff each
garment with tissue paper to help keep the fine
pressed finish. We stuff the sleeves, body and
collar with tissue paper so that the garment
will be ready to go when you are.
Skillfully Stuffed:
One of the many reasons why knowledgeable
customers say:
"MY Cleaners is my cleaners."
