The program will focus on helping parents effectively communicate with children about the Holocaust. Speakers will be Dr. Joseph Fischhoff, child psychiatrist and director of psychiatry and psychology at Children's Hospital of Michigan; and Mrs. Renee Wohl, Holocaust •educator and director of the Resource Center for the Agency for Jewish Education. Dr. Fischhoff will address the psychological issues of children and adolescents and how best to discuss the Holocaust with children and adolescents from a psychological perspective. Mrs. Wohl will address these issues from an educational point of view, discussing the specific educational materials that are now available for children and adolescents. There is no admission charge for CHAIM members. Refreshments will be served. The annual election of officers and trustees will take place at the meeting. Round Table Sets Conference The Greater Detroit In- trfaith Round Table will host its 39th annual "Rearing Children of Good Will" Con- ference 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mar. 13 at Mercy College. This year the conference theme is "Youth Together in the '90s: Talking, Working, Living, Together." The Conference will bring students of Metropolitan Detroit (8th grade-12th grade) of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds together to share and celebrate in each other's differences. Small group sessions will focus on celebrating racial and cul- tural diversity, racial and cultural myths and stereo- types, how stereotypes affect the lives of young people, and how to build racial and cul- tural bridges.
