The Young Israel Teens of
the Detroit Chapter of the
National Conference of
Synagogue Youth will go five
pin bowling 1 p.m. Feb. 3. All
NCSYers will meet at the
Young Israel of Southfield.
The NCSYers will host an
Oneg Shabbat Feb. 9 at the
home of Yael Ebenstein,
23020 Coventry in Southfield.
The topic for discussion will
be "Crisis in the Middle
East."

The National Conference of
Synagogue Youth will hold a
Siyum Mishnayos, (comple-
tion of all the tractates of the
Mishnah) March 17 in light of
the present crisis situation in
Israel and in order to help
bring about peace in the Mid-
dle East.
The Mishnayot have been
divided amongst 30 teen-
agers who will learn a section
of the Mishnah and share
what they have learned at a
Shabbaton in Indianapolis on
March 14-17.
To participate in this pro-
gram, call Josh Zwelling,

B'nai B'rith Youth Organ-
ization and the Jewish Com-
munity Center of Metropoli-
tan Detroit will hold a special
program for teens, grades 7
and 8 called Teen Connection.
The BBYO/JCC Teen Con-
nection will have a swim,
gym and sleepover 8:30
p.m.-8:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. A shuttle bus
will be provided leaving the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
building at 8 p.m. and retur-
ning at 9 a.m. There is a fee.

Square Dance

The Birmingham Temple
Youth Group will host a
square dance social for the
adult community 8 p.m. Feb.
2 at the Birmingham Temple.
The dance will feature dinner
and a professional caller.
Western dress is encouraged.
