Plan Events

The Jewish Experiences for
Families Committee of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek will
sponsor two special programs
in February.
The first is a Tu B'Shevat
Seder and Shabbat luncheon
Feb. 2 following Shabbat ser-
vices. The seder is a unique
celebration of nature and our
commitment to the land of
Israel dating back to the six-
teenth century. Families will
participate in the seder com-
piled by Rabbi William Ger-
shon and will partake of
wines, special fruits of the
season and a lunch. There is
a fee for lunch.
The J.E.F.F. committee of
Shaarey Zedek will sponsor
"Why a Hebrew Name," 10:15
a.m. Feb. 10 for grades K-3
and their families. The pro-
gram will feature a carnival
style crafts fair for students
and a special discussion for
parents aimed at increasing
everyone's Hebrew name
knowledge.

Family Shabbat

Congregation B'nai David
will hold its monthly "Fami-
ly Shabbat Luncheon" follow-
