A

the Reform Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Detroit,
takes great pleasure in sharing this news with all our friends:

YAVNEH ACADEMY IS MOVING TO TEMPLE BETH EL,
TELEGRAPH AND 14 MILE ROADS IN BIRMINGHAM,
BEGINNING THIS SUMMER

The Yavneh Board of Directors has chosen
this new location to place our Day School at
THE GEOGRAPHICAL CENTER
of the Jewish Community, better to attract and serve families from
Oak Park, Huntington Woods, Southfield, Detroit, Franklin, Birmingham and Troy,
for example, as well as West Bloomfield and Farmington Hills.

Yavneh Academy will continue to be an independent school of the whole community,
not affiliated with Temple Beth El but enjoying the use of its
outstanding facilities and location.

In the coming school year, Yavneh will add Third Grade to its current Kindergarten,
First and Second Grades, continuing to provide an outstanding combination
of secular and Reform Jewish education, with purposely small class sizes
to assure lots of individual attention to our students.
The school will grow by one grade each year through Grade 8.

We who have watched and nurtured Yavneh's growth and success since its inception
celebrate this benchmark in its young history and wish it continuing success and
growth in serving the wider Reform Jewish community from its exciting new and
more convenient location at Temple Beth El.
