The lowest priced cabins are inside
staterooms; they have no windows,
feature twin beds which can be
converted into a queen-size bed, a
private shower and TV. At peak
season, these cabins cost $1,265 on
the lowest deck. (The same stateroom
on a higher deck could cost almost
$500 more per person.) During the
value season, the fare is $1,195;
during the economy season, $1,130.
Princess' new 70,000-ton Crown
Princess offers honeymooners a top-
of-the-line stateroom, featuring a
private bedroom with queen-size
bed, sitting area, private veranda,
bathtub and walk-in closet for $2,885
during the peak season, late January
through late March. The fare for this
cabin is slightly lower, $2,835, for
cruises in early to mid-January, early
March, and most of November. Cabin
costs for the cruises that depart be-
tween November 30 and December
14 are reduced to $2,785.
The least expensive cabin on the
Crown Princess is an inside stateroom
(no windows) with two lower beds
that can be converted into a queen-
size bed. The cost for this cabin
ranges from $1,395 during peak
season to $1,295 in the off-season.
On board Norwegian Cruise Lines'
newest ship, Seaward, the deluxe
outside cabin, featuring a sitting area
with a convertible sofa, a bathtub,
and two lower beds, costs $2,550
during peak season, December
through March. The value season
encompasses certain dates in August,
October, November, January, April,
June, and July. The cost of this cabin
is $2,450 for these sailings. For
cruises on several dates in August,
September, May, and June, the
economy season, this cabin would
cost $2,375.
The least expensive cabin on the
Seaward is an inside stateroom with
an oversized lower bed with a fold-
down upper bed, a shower, and a TV.
During peak season, this cabin costs
$1,250. In the value and economy
seasons, the fares are $1,200 and
$1,150, respectively.
