Planning Your Honeymoon
Deciding where to go on a honey-
moon is often put on a back burner
to such pressing issues as the color
of the bridesmaids' dresses and the
flavor of the wedding cake. But the
earlier you plan your trip, the better.
Most lines, like Royal Caribbean
Cruise Lines, offer discounts of up to
15 percent on certain cruises and for
almost all cabin categories, if you
book six months prior to departure.
"Booking in advance is especially
important if you're getting married in
June or July," said Kathie Ambrose,
manager of Travelworks in Southfield.

entertainment — is included in your
fare. (There are additional charges on
the cruise but we'll get to that later.)
The best way to start planning your
honeymoon is to look at the bro-
chures from the various cruise lines.
These thick, glossy "books" are avail-
able from your travel agent and will
tell you all about the ins and outs of
sailing with that cruise line.
While booking a cruise yourself is
not difficult, it is even easier if you
work with a travel agent, who will
have the price listings and itineraries
from various cruise lines. Your travel
agent can also help you decide where
to cruise, based on your budget and
the time of year you are traveling.
Some cruise lines require that you
