Absolut vodka is an optional
addition.
After the indoor ceremony, waiters
would line up outside with tall,
refreshing glasses of champagne.
They would also pass cold canapes.
The table arrangements under a tent
would be an assortment of sizes with
different types of centerpieces. Mr.
Kohn chooses this variety so the
guests can have a pleasing inside view
of the tent.
"The centerpiece would be a
gorgeous flowered wedding cake with
delicate string work," says Mr. Kohn.
For a creative and flowing party, Mr.
Kohn recommends stations of foods.
He suggests seven intgriguing
stations: An assortment of crepes to
order — seafood, chicken or the
preference of the host; fresh stir fried
vegetables in a wok; caviar
assortment with a caviar pie
surrounded by fresh flowers and an
ice sculpture; several pates; a pasta
station; a carved salmon station with
variety of prepared salmon served on
party ryes; beef or turkey stations are
also optional.
The stations would easily be
converted to dessert posts when the
timing is right. International coffees,
delectable pastries, fresh fruits,
dipped fruits with chocolate and
bananas foster are some of the
suggestions.

Flowers

Three groups of flowers are needed
for the wedding: personal, ceremony
and reception. Each group should
complement the other. If you are
having the wedding at an outdoor
site, you need only a minimum of
flowers or rented greenery to accent
the setting. If the wedding is indoors,
there are many ways to create a
garden effect.
Cascade bouquets remain a favorite
with brides. The trend in bridal
attendants' bouquets is to more
stylized, dramatic and colorful
arrangements. Sometimes, the more
vibrant colors are chosen to show up
against jewel-toned bridesmaids'
dresses. But even if the bridesmaids
are wearing pastels — pale pink
dresses, for instance — the bride is
