Temple Beth El
Breakfast Program
A view of Detroit through
the eyes of newly-arrived
Soviet Americans will be the
focus of a Temple Beth El-
Federation breakfast program
9:30 a.m. Jan. 27.
Titled "From Moscow to
Motown," the program will
feature an interview with two
Soviet-Jewish couples, con-
ducted by Conrad Giles, past
president of Jewish Welfare
Federation. The couples will
explain the impact federation -
agencies have had on their
lives as they settled into their
new homes.
Following the interview, the
audience will view a video
film, Igor and Olga, which
details the resettlement pro-
cess in Israel and its effect on
the lives of a young im-
migrant couple and their two
children.
The breakfast will be
followed by Sasha Burshtein,
Russian emigre pianist, the
interview and video
presentation.
There is a charge for the
breakfast. For information,
call 851-1100.
