night of Morels hosting
celebrity bartenders 5-8:30
p.m. in the combat against
multiple sclerosis . . . Chari-
ty events are nothing new to
owner Matt Prentice . . . The
Capuchin Kitchen was his
beneficiary during the grand
opening of Morels in
September on Telegraph bet-
ween 12 and 13 Mile to name
just one of his fund-raising ef-
forts . . . Celebrity benefit is
in the restaurant's bar area.
THERE WAS a heavy air
around the shop morning of
Jan. 7 . . . The usually
talkative crew of over 30
tailors quietly moved about
with somber faces . . . It had
been a year that day since
Harry Kosins passed away .. .
and head tailor at Kosins cen-
tral tailor shop, Bill Weiss,
called them together for a
one-minute moment of silence
in his memory . . . Bill said
the Kaddish; Italian Catho-
lics, the Rosary, and Greeks,
Chaldeans, Iraqis and Polish
all prayed in their own ways
. . . It was a very moving mo-
ment . . . They all adored
Harry.

10th annual Brookside
Kaleidescope Gala and Auc-
tion to benefit Cranbrook
Schools Brookside . . . Noted

and it is hoped that they
