For tickets, call the Attic box office, 875-8284. The play is based on a short story by the Nobel Prize win- ner. This stage adaptation by Mr. Singer and Ruth Fried- man showcases Mr. Singer's magical abilities to call up desires and demons — not from hell, but from the depths of the human heart. Teibele explores the darker side of human emotions, as Alchonon, a sometime scholar, assumes the role of a demon to possess the women he lusts for and later loves.
