field Public Library will hold
their annual meeting and
program, 7 p.m. Feb. 19, in
the Marcotte Room of the
library.
The business meeting will
be followed by the program
titled: "The World's Genius:
The Gospel Acording to
Shakespeare," presented by
Dr. Brian Murphy, director of
the Honors College at
Oakland University.
There is no admission fee. A
reception will follow.

annual "Festival of Bands"
Jan. 26 at the mall. Com-
munity bands from Birming-
ham, Meridian, Plymouth,
Novi, Schoolcraft College,
South Oakland and Farm-
ington will participate.
Master of Ceremonies, Carl
Grapentine, of WNIB-
Chicago and the "voice" of
the University of Michigan
Bands, will welcome the
bands, with concerts every
hour on the half hour from
11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and from
5:30-8 p.m.
