As a Tanuga Camper

of 11 years
old in 1958, I never imagined having
children who would attend the same camp
some thirty years later. Both my
daughters have gone to Tanuga. My
daughter Jennifer has been going since
1987. It's a special experience to hear
stories about the same places and things
that you did as a child.

30 years ago . . .

my father
went to a camp called Tanuga. Now 30
years later, I'm planning on going for the
5th year to the same camp. My dad
always told me the great stories about
trips and people, and now I am telling
him my stories. A few years ago, on
visiting weekend, we took a tour of the
land called "Tanu." My father showed me
his old cabin and told me some things he
used to do. A lot of fun memories were
made there, and there will be a lot more
to come.
