Camp Henry S. Jacobs,

located in Utica, Mississippi,
emphasizes Jewish education
and recreation for boys and
girls entering grades 3-11.
The camp, which has been in
existence for 20 years, boasts
about being the center of
Jewish life in the Deep South.
There is one two-week ses-
sion, two four-week sessions,
one six-week session, and dai-
ly activities include boating,
fishing, athletics, arts and
crafts, singing, photography
and an Israeli scouting pro-
gram. No seafood or pork is
served.
Tuition ranges from $675
for the two-week sessions, to
$1775 for six-week sessions
for 9th and 10th graders, and
fee includes two field trips.

Harlam Camp Institute
For Living, located in the

Pocono Mountains, balances
recreation with an extensive
athletic program and Jewish
education. Boating, tennis,
soccer, dance, music and arts
and crafts are a part of the
agenda, which is offered for
co-eds ages 8-16. There are
two four-week sessions and
the dietary practice is accor-
ding to Reform Movement.
A teenage village is also
available for students enter-
ing grades 10 and 11, and
trips to Boston and
Washington DC are a part of
the program.
Tuition is $1550 for the
main camp, and $1575 for the
teen camp.

Kutz Camp Institute, in
Warwick, New York, is the
national teen camp for the
UAHC. Reform co-eds ages
14-18 travel across North
America to college campuses
practicing leadership skills
and learning about Jewish
history and culture.

fered to high school and col-
lege students. Semester or
year long study program in
Israel are available.
