Tax Assistance From AARP The American Association of Retired Persons, in coopera- tion with the Internal Revenue Service, will sponsor free tax assistance. The ser- vice, funded principally for low- to moderate-income tax- payers age 60 or over, is also available to younger persons who need it. The tax site will open at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish Community Center 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 15 and 22. Persons using Tax-Aide assistance should bring with them copies of last year's Federal and State tax returns and forms for the current tax year, including W-2s and other relevant materials showing income and expenses that will affect their tax.
