Movin' Theatre, Wayne
State University's traveling
dance toupe, will take to the
road in January. Bookings
are now available for the
group's new show, Broadway
Rhythms, and for related
workshops and movement.
Broadway Rhythms is a
narrated program, performed
by eight actor-dancers, trac-
ing the history of dance in
Broadway musicals from the
1920s to the present.
The Movin' Theatre was
founded in 1977.
Also available for booking
is the brand new show,
Ragtime Remembrances. The
history of ragtime dance and
turn-of-the century America
is told through one of our
country's greatest dance
teams, Vernon and Irene Cas-
tle. Bill Wilson and Nira
Pullin portray the two
dancers in a narrated pro-
gram of ragtime dances.

Samuel (Shloima) Davidovich
Dvoretski, born 1900-1903 in
Kremenchug, Russia. He left
in 1915-1916 for the United
States, where he became the
owner of a Detroit factory. His
sisters were Mira Shor and
Surester Garfinkel.
