The Southfield Symphony
Orchestra with Rose Marie
Floyd's Contemporary Civic
Ballet Company will perform
Tschaikovsky's Nutcracker
Ballet 3 p.m. Dec. 16 at Birm-
ingham's Groves High School.
Two dancers from the
American Ballet Theatre,
Amanda McKerrow and
Danilo Radojevic, will dance
the roles of the Sugar Plum
Fairy and the Cavalier. Ms.
McKerrow won the Gold
Medal at the Moscow Interna-
tional Ballet Competition in
1981 prior to joining the
American Ballet Theatre in
1982. She also toured Europe
with the Washington Ballet.
Mr. Radojevic, from Sydney,
Australia, danced with the
Australian Ballet Company.
His first performing success
was as Billy in Billy the Kid.
He was also the recipient of a
Gold Medal in Moscow in
1977, at which time he left
Australia and joined ABT as
a soloist in 1978.

JFS Hosts
Needs Group

Jewish Family Service will
begin a short-term group for
siblings of children who are
physically or mentally_ im-
paired or have a chronic
medical illness.
The group, led by clinical
social workers, will offer sibl-
ings an opportunity to ex-
press concerns in having a
brother or sister who has
special needs. The format for
the group will be informal yet
focused on helping siblings
recognize how to get their
own needs met and learn
positive coping skills.
The six week group is for
children 7-12 years of age. It
will meet on Tuesdays,
47 5 p.m. beginning Feb. 19,
1991, at Jewish Family Ser-
vice. There will be a fee. The
group will be facilitated by
Carol Plotkin and Judy
Shewach-Stevenson. For in-
