Thirty B'nai B'rith bowlers
— 29 men and one woman —
advanced to the final round
of the "Eliminator" tourna-
ment.
Two Pisgah League Keglers
— Al Mudryk, who bowled
112 pins over his average, and
Mort Friedman, 110 pins
over, lead the 30 finalists.
Debbie Mazer, a
106-average bowler in the
Mix — Match League, is the
only female in the final
round. Mazer shot 96 pins
over average.
Sy Zate, tournament direc-
tor for the Metropolitan
Detroit B'nai B'rith Bowling
Association, said scores from
regular bowling nights deter-
mine the winners. Prizes will
be awarded to the top 15 over
average bowlers.

Wins 1st B.O.B.B.I.

Allan Salomon of the
Zeiger-Gross B'nai B'rith
League rolled a 233 game to
win the first B.O.B.B.I. (Best
Of B'nai B'rith Invitational)
Tournament.
Saloman bested Barry
Fishman of the Pisgah
league, who bowled a 203
game.
Other finalists were Bill
Oram, Paul Schaefer, Bill
Zavier, Shel Baskin, Steve
Kay, Ron Goodman, Dennis
Eder, Barry Schlussel, Mort
Friedman, Keith Kingston,
David Freedman, Sy Zate and
Phil Horowitz.
The tourney was Nov. 11 at
West Bloomfield Lanes.
The next B.O.B.B.I. tourney
will be Jan. 6 at the
Drakeshire Lanes in Farm-
ington Hills.

Akiva Schedules
4th Sports Night

Members of the Am-
bassadors Hockey Club and
Dov the Bear will be on hand
when the Yeshivat Akiva PTA
hosts is fourth annual Com-
munity Sports Night, 7-9 p.m.
Dec. 23 at the Oak Park Corn-
puware Ice Irena.
In addition to ice skating
with youngsters and their
families, the professional
hockey team will give away
tickets to an upcoming game.
Also on the agenda will be
a Walleyball tournament for
adults, magician James Fitz-
simmons and music by the
Bas-Kol Band. The Heimish
Rock Cafe will offer food from
Sara's Deli.
