Purim Party Plus

Cantor Simon Spiro will
return to Adat Shalom
Syangogue in a cabaret per-
formance at the synagogue's
annual major fundraiser,
Purim Party Plus VIII.
The event, 7 p.m. Feb. 28 is
titled "Let There Be Light."
It will raise funds to improve
the lighting in the syna-
gogue's main sanctuary.
Participants will have the
opportunity to win a 1991
Chrysler LeBaron converti-

dancing to the sounds of The
People's Choice.
Cantor Spiro will be the
featured entertainer. He is
popular in the British pop
music world, on the concert
stage, in cabarets and on
television. Cantor Spiro was
Adat Shalom's guest chazzan
for the 5751 High Holy Days.
Chairmen of Purim Party
Plus VIII are Elaine and
Gary Rosenblatt and Bluma
and Leonard Siegal.
A $250 donation to the syn-
agogue will admit two to the
event and enable participants
to win the car and other
