The match-up, which is
open to the public, is the se-
cond of two exhibitions in-
volving Maccabi and B'nai
B'rith. The first, Nov. 4, saw
the game Maccabians take

sion leaders Centennial
Lodge.
The lady in question is
Erica Gilman, a member of
Maccabi's silver-medal-
winning Hakoah team from
last summer's Youth Games
championship battle won by
Chicago. Gilman, a Berkley

first exhibition against
Centennial.
"They played very well, as
well as could be expected,"
Marty Melton, B'nai B'rith
volleyball commissioner,
said of the Maccabi team,
which lost to Centennial's
powerful, more experienced
squad.
Melton, a prime mover of
the exhibition games along
with Maccabi coaches Ken
Bertin and Sam Skeegan,
noted the youngsters are
improving and have gained
a lot of experience in the
series. "I give them a lot of
credit," he said.
Gilman's Maccabi team-
mates include Scott Aaron-
son, Albert Berger, Evan
Ellis, Jordan Glass, Ben
Greenberg, Darrin Gursky,
Howard Krugel, David
Serlin, Jared Starr and
Jason Zacks.
Brotherhood 3 players are
player-manager Jeff
Goldsmith, Daryl Larson,
Murray Laughlin, Greg
Rostker, Howard Meyers,
Jay Geller, Kenneth Greene
and Melton.
The games are open to the
public. Melton urged
families and friends of the
players to attend. ❑
