JCC Fund
Established

The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit has established the
Shelby Small Memorial Send
a Kid to Camp Fund. The
fund was set up in memory of
Mr. Small.
The fund will provide
scholarships for children from
underprivileged families to
attend the Center's summer
camp. Mr. Small was a long-
time member and supporter
of the Center, as well as being
active in the B'nai B'rith and
the Detroit Jewish Welfare
Federation's Young Adult
Division.

Israel Program
On Local TV

Zionist Organization of
America will present a two-
hour program on Israel to be
seen locally on Continental
Cable TV, Channel 11 at 1
p.m. Dec. 16.
The community is invited to
a special showing of the TV
program 12:45 p.m. Dec. 16,
at the Southfield-Lathrup
High School. There is no
charge.
The program highlights
Israel's security problems,
media bias, the Soviet-Jewish
exodus and includes recently
declassified footage prepared
by the Israel Defense Forces.
The show, produced by ZOA in
association with Shalom
America, is hosted by Radio
and TV personality Barry
Farber and features inter-
views with Israel's President
Chaim Herzog, Prime
Minister Yitzhak Shamir and
Deputy Foreign Minister
Benyamin Netanyahu.
