Egg, a romantic fairy tale
for adults, has a two-day
engagement at the Detroit
Film Theatre (DFT) of the
Detroit Institute of Arts Dec.
7-8. This Dutch film pairs
Johan, a gentle man with a
child's sense of the world,
with Eva, a lonely
schoolteacher. Soon after she
meets Johan, Eva realizes
that she must either leave or
become part of this simple
storybook life.
For All Mankind, the 1989
film by American director Al
Reinert will be featured Dec.
9. This Oscar-nominated
documentary details nine
Apollo flights from 1969
through 1972. This film
presentation includes color
footage which has been lock-
ed away by NASA for 20
years.
Screenings for Egg are 7
and 9:30 p.m. on Friday and
5, 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Satur-
day. Screenings for For All
Mankind are at 1, 3, 5 and 7
p.m. on Sunday.

Theater's production of Alice
in Wonderland Dec. 7-9 and

Mr. Hoffman, a graduate of
West Bloomfield High School,
is a junior at Wayne State
University majoring in
theatre.
