who have something to im-
part to us. And to learn is to
continue an unending ambi-
tion in life. To inspire others
to learn is to assist in creating
a well-informed community.
Such are the experiences of
half a century. These are the
aspirations of a life that has
been blessed by the great
privilege inherent in an
Americanism that does not
exclude equal loyalty to
Judaism.
These are just a few of the
thoughts that crop up in the
rejoicing over my
Americanism. Your commen-
tator was blessed during half
a century as an American.
His gratitude is unbounded.
This is a great day in his life
— to be 50 years an
American. That's the reason
for devoting a column to a
personal expression of
thankfulness for such a bless-
ing — to be an American! ❑

Never before held in the state of Michigan, the nationally popular preretirement/
retirement living conference will be presented by the author of RETIREMENT
LIVING ALTERNATIVES USA: THE INSIDE STORY, H. Wilson Worley.
Mr. Worley's book (a $9.95 value) will be presented without charge to each household
along with other copyrighted material.

Thousands have highly acclaimed this conference for its dissemination of informa-
tion not available from any other source. During the two-hour session, participants
will review full-service preretirement and retirement living concepts through a
color slide series of communities from the east to the west coast.

In addition, a new and different concept in active retirement/preretirement
living being considered for Farmington Hills will be discussed to determine its
potential for active adults desiring a full menu of services from home and yard
maintenance to security and health/fitness programs. The concept offers options
not found in lifecare, entrance fee, expensive rental packages, or resort communities.
Each participant will be asked to complete a simple written survey to provide
direction for the development and the public's acceptance of this community.

The conference is free of charge. However, seating is limited and will be by
reservation only.

Please call Nancy Fees (313) 442-9860, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. or write for reservations for you and your friends to RETIREMENT

Anti-Missionary
Computer Line

Jews For Judaism, the
counter-missionary organiza-
tion, has established a com-
puter network to make the
resources of the organization
available to computer users
around the world.
Ronnie Schreiber, Midwest
director of Jews For Judaism,
said, "We can now make our
services accessible to anyone
with a computer and a
modem, 24 hours a day." The
network combines electronic
mail, literature files and corn-
munications software to pro-
vide information and
assistance. The system has
conference areas where peo-
ple can seek advice from the
national staff of Jews For
Judaism, a conference for
counter-missionary activists,
a conference for dialogue with
individuals involved with
missionary groups, as well as
a wide selection of educa-
tional literature and software
utilities. Hebrew and Russian
literature files are planned.
New users can register by
dialing the Network,
967-5397. For information,
call the Detroit office of Jews
For Judaism, 968-JEWS.
