Adat Shalom Synagogue
will host new members at a
dessert reception 7 p.m. Dec.
2, at the synagogue. Nikolai
and Ludmila Lemberg, a
piano and flute duo, will pro-
vide musical entertainment.
The evening, chaired by Celia
Lubetsky, has been planned
by the synagogue's member-
ship committee.
Adat Shalom will hold its
annual latke party 11 a.m.
Dec. 9. The synagogue Men's
Club will prepare and serve

Congregation Shir Tikvah,
Troy, will host Rabbi Edward
Sukol, 7:45 p.m. Nov. 30 at
North Minster Presbyterian

Rabbi Sukol is in his fourth
year as Hillel director at Ohio
University. His insights will
help parents prepare their
children for college as well as
