Karen received her
bachelor's and master of
social work degrees from the
University of Michigan. She
is employed at American Way

Insurance Corporation and is
pursuing an MBA from
Lawrence Technological
University.

Jim received his bachelor
and MBA degrees from Nor-
thwestern University. He is
manager of financial plann-
ing and control for Chrysler
Corporation's International
Operations.
A May wedding is planned.

Mrs. Beryl Perlman of West
Bloomfield proudly an-
nounces the engagement of
her daughter, Heidi Perlman,
to David Wheeler, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Richard Wheeler of
Westchester, Pa. Heidi is also
the daughter of the late
Gerald F. Perlman.
Miss Perlman graduated
from the University of
Michigan and received a
master's degree in physical

therapy from Long Island
University. She is a physical
therapist at JFK Medical
Center in New Jersey.

Mr. Wheeler graduated
from Bucknell University and
received an MBA from New
York University. He is an in-
vestment officer at Mutual
Benefit Life in New Jersey.

A December wedding is
planned.
