Collage Paintings
The Feigenson/Preston Gal-
lery will feature new collage
paintings by Joseph Bernard.
Joseph Bernard uses film
strips, onion skins, flower
petals, thread, sea grass and
other discards that are col-
lected on layers of
transparent tape and then
paint is applied under and
over the surface before the
"skins" are applied to wood
where additional painting is
done.
Mr. Bernard is chairman of
the painting department at
the Center for Creative
Studies.
The exhibition will open
Nov. 24 with a reception for
the artist from 3-5 p.m.
Gallery hours are Tuesday
through Saturday, 11 a.m.-
5 p.m.
