Nov. 23-25 at the Butzel Con-
ference Center in Ortonville.
The families will combine a
traditional Shabbat with out-
door camping activities.
Rabbi Elliot Pachter has
helped to plan the retreat
events and will accompany
the group. Retreat co-
chairmen are Janice and
Donald Scharg.

The Livonia Jewish Con-
gregation will host an open
house 2-4 p.m. Nov. 25 at the
synagogue.
The new rabbi, Craig Allen,
will be honored. A dessert
