will go to the movies 4 p.m.
Nov. 18, at the Michigan
Theater, Ann Arbor. Conduc-
tor will be Delta David Gier
who will be joined by guest
artist O.J. Anderson.
In 1988 Mr. Gier was award-
ed a Fulbright Performing
Arts Grant to Conduct in
Eastern Europe. He has spent
the last two seasons conduc-
ting in Romania, Poland,
Czechoslovakia and Turkey.
O.J. Anderson is a mime, a
clown, a comedian, and a
director living in Ann Arbor.
This performance will in-
clude the following movie
themes: Rossini's "Willliam
Tell Overture" from The Lone
Ranger, Barber's "Adagio for
Strings" from Platoon,
Dukas' "Sorcerer's Appren-
tice" from Fantasia and
Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and
Juliet".
